We do a lot with the Semi Auto defensive shotguns on the market like the Benelli M4/M2 and the Beretta 1301/300 Patrol, but the Fabarm Professional STF 12 always holds a special place for us because there are not many defensive shotguns built to this high of a standard.
It’s easy to look at the price that is close to those renowned semi-auto platforms from big names such as Benelli and Beretta and think “how can this pump shotgun be almost as much as those others” but handling will answer those questions pretty quickly. It’s the smoothest pump action that we know of on the market with brilliant design features not seen on anything else like the easily removeable picatinny rail and back up iron sights, to the fact that is built to withstand pressures of up to 1630 BAR.
We have carried these on and off over the years but decided to bring one back into the store after talking to a customer of ours who is an enthusiast of the defensive shotgun platforms but had never even heard of this one before.
